One Small Step Party Terms & Conditions

Party Booking

A 50% deposit of the party package fee is required to confirm the reservation. Bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of the deposit.
Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of our Terms & Conditions.
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Minimum Spend Policy

All party bookings are subject to a minimum spend requirement, as outlined in your party package. If the total bill on the event day does not meet the agreed minimum spend, the customer is required to pay the difference. This applies regardless of the number of attending guests or selected package options. The minimum spend is non-negotiable and must be settled before the end of the event.

Prior to the Party

Date changes require a minimum of two weeks' notice and are subject to availability. Rescheduled dates must be within 30 days of the original booking. Changes to vendor arrangements are also subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
In the event of a Typhoon Signal No. 8/9/10 or Black Rainstorm Warning, the party may be postponed once within three months, subject to availability.
One Small Step is not liable for any allergic reactions or incidents resulting from food allergies. Guests consume food at their own risk, as traces of allergens may be present in our dishes. Customers are welcome to consult us regarding ingredients; however, One Small Step is not liable for any allergic reactions or incidents resulting from food allergies.

During the Party

Guests are responsible for any damages to the venue's facilities or equipment. Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
Parties are allocated a three-hour time slot. Any additional time beyond the reserved duration will incur an extension fee.
If the maximum guest capacity is exceeded, additional charges will apply for extra party space, even if additional space is unavailable.
Guests must set up and dismantle any personal materials without staff assistance. Failure to remove decorations or restore the venue to its original condition may result in an additional cleaning fee, subject to the extent of cleanup required.
Affixing materials to any walls within the premises is strictly prohibited.
Parents, guardians, and caretakers are solely responsible for supervising children. One Small Step does not provide child supervision and assumes no liability for any injuries or incidents occurring on the premises.
Footwear is not permitted inside the premises. All guests must wear socks at all times. Socks are available for purchase at HKD 20 per pair.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
Under the free-flow food and beverage package, guests may take home up to two containers of leftover food using containers provided by One Small Step. Unfinished beverages may not be removed from the premises.

Self-Arranged Vendors

All external vendors (e.g., photographers, videographers, performers, decorators) must receive prior approval from One Small Step.
For safety reasons, only in-house performers are permitted to conduct bubble shows.
To protect our wood flooring and light-colored soft mats, external vendors for Bubble Shows and Face Painting are strictly prohibited at One Small Step. These services may only be provided by our approved in-house vendors.
Animal performances are strictly prohibited due to hygiene, health, and safety concerns, in accordance with Hong Kong law, which prohibits restaurants from allowing animals on premises. Any unauthorized animal performances will be denied entry. If a vendor fails to comply, a HKD 1,000 cleaning fee will be applied to the final bill.

Exclusive Authority

One Small Step reserves the right to make the final decision on all matters related to party bookings, including but not limited to guest capacity, food and beverage policies, and venue access. In the event of disputes or unforeseen circumstances, our decision will be final and binding.

Policy Changes & Updates

One Small Step reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions without prior notice. The version in effect on the date of your booking will apply to your reservation. Any modifications will be communicated through official channels and are binding on all parties.

Liability & Compliance

Customers are required to comply with all venue rules and Hong Kong laws during the event. One Small Step assumes no liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss caused by guests' actions, negligence, or failure to follow our Terms & Conditions. Failure to comply may result in the immediate termination of the event without refund and may incur additional charges.

Payment & Settlement

All outstanding balances, including minimum spend shortfalls, extension fees, or damage charges, must be settled before the end of the event. Failure to make full payment may result in the suspension of services or further action in accordance with Hong Kong law.
